Association (BFA) president Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa
besides members Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Abdulaziz Al Yahya and Ahmed
Jassim.
The BFA chief extended his support to the Iraqi Football
Association's bid in hosting the 21st Gulf Cup, praising the
efforts of the soccer associations in the GCC to promote the game
in the region.
Shaikh Salman has been in Oman since the start of the on-going 19th
Gulf Cup football tournament, which is contested every two years by
Arab countries around the Gulf.
Bahrain have already been eliminated from the competition after
losing their deciding Group 'A' match 0-2 to hosts Oman.
The semi-finals will be played tomorrow between two-time champions
Qatar and Oman, and Saudi Arabia and nine-time winners
